Construction:

To ensure perfect stability the bed is fabricated from extra thick M.S. plates, properly machined to ensure perfect alignment & facilitating erection on proper foundation.

Kettle:

The steam round kettle is of M.S. extra thick plate construction with welded seams & hydraulically tested & fitted with all steam fittings i.e. steam safety valve, pressure gauge and other valves.

Barrel:

(Chamber box) is manufactured from M.S. thick plate suitably machined for assembly of the tempered cage bars & frame bars.

Gear Box:

The gear box is totally closed & made from heavy cast iron casting. The main gear is made from M.S. machine teeth ring mounted on C.I. block. Gear is heavy & in balancing. The evel & pinion are of casehardened steel. All gears are of machine cut and run in oil bath.

These filter press are very extensively used in oil mills, chemical works etc. Our filter press are most suitable for cleaning oil drawn from the different expelling plants. The filtering capacity varies with the viscosity of the oil & liquids & with the amount of sediment contained therein.

Filter press consists of chiefly C.I. square plates, mounted parallel on heavy flat M.S. bars fixed on heavy cast iron stand. All filter press are supplied with air vessel, cloth clips, cocks, M.S. gutter & best quality belt driven plunger pump at 50 R.P.M. The oil or liquids pressed by a belt driven plunger pump passes through filter cloth fitted to either side of each plate. All impurities are retained by the filter cloth, the filtered oil leaves the chamber through cocks fitted to each plate & flows where it is collected.
